does anyone have a latch inside the trunk used to open it from the inside? its in my manual, it even has a picture of it, but its not in the car so maybe in some markets its standard, i know most of you think its useless.. but in some places in the world its not <_<
so please if anyone has it, can you describe it?

I think that you will find that the inside latch for the "trunk" is required only for U.S. models.

My $.02 YMMV

I agree. I think that this is required in the US. THat way if you lock yourself in the trunk you can't sue BMW!

I have it in the US, little glow in the dark pull ring that is clipped onto the top of the trunk near the First Aid kit.

We have it in Canada. A little plastic tab on a pull string. Very cheap looking but I imagine it works.

I keep the inside trunk latch right next to my Glock 23.
