I made the mistake of ordering a car without knowing that there are priority one options! Now, I may have to negotiate with the dealer to take the car that I originally ordered and order another one with some of the better options like Ventilated Seats!

Before I go and delay getting my hands on a new 550i for no good reason, I thought I'd ask those of you on this board that already have Ventilated Seats what you think of them.

So, what do you think? Do you like them? Do you use them? Would you order them again? I live in the Washington D.C. area, so the humid summers would be much easier with a cool backside!

I would definately order them again, even if I would live in Alaska!!

No more sweat running down your back... Very nice, espacially after a football practice or in the summer time...

I use them more often than the seat heater!

I love 'em .. i used them on a daily base .... sometimes late at night i'd turn the ventilated seats on with the heated seats .. made for a warm breeze.

 

Awwww darnit. I ordered a 550i on the 3rd and it went into production THE NEXT DAY! Now I'm going to have to talk the dealer into taking my car and ordering another that won't go into production until the middle of November!

Does anyone know if there any way to get ventilated seats aftermarket instead of from the factory?

 

Almost impossible. IF it's possible, it is waaaaaaaaay too expensive anyways...

 

I also considered ventilated seats but my dealer said I had to also order heads up display and or cold weather package...so I left it off my order. Anyone know if this is really true?

 

NOT TRUE just Comfort seats and leather. Heated seats come with the Vent seats Option 453 includes heated seats U must also add Nasca Leather which to the best of my knowledge is only available in black or beige interior
