I visited a BMW service center to fix error message on I drive screen last week.
After that, I cannot find an icon which showes air flow intensity and indicates directions of air flow through an icon(: which looks like a sitting man.) at the left lower corner.
My dealer told that the new version doesn't have that icon on the screen.
Is it true? Actually I visited 3 times to fix I drive problems.
When I visited a dealer, they fixed problems and I got a new problem at least.
Please let me share your opinion about I drive.
Thank you for all of your inputs.

Hhhmmm...
I can not comment on it, since I ALLWAYS use the AUTO function...
But I am very happy with the AUTO mode and the way the climate control works.

My car (just upgraded to CIP 12.2) works exactly as expected.
The letter 'A' appears if you use Automatic mode. If you go into the Climate menu and manually override the vent settings, say to increase the airflow at the feet, you will see three little horizontal 'bar graphs' instead of the letter A indicating the intensity of the air at each position (windshield, face, feet).

the climate control icon no longer shows at bottom left of the screen no matter what i set auto climate or not!
what's going on? i just had the software rev less than 72 hours. is there version 12.2 already?
in another thread i also mentioned the latest software changed main menu description from "On-board" to "OBC".
there is also warning message now that one needs to hit the button to accept and go to main menu. When i first got the car, this is not the case.
do you guys know if we can get BMW AG's software rev changes listing?

Hi! Zag.
That is the exact problem which I have.
The climate icons disappeared after a dealer upgraded I drive.
I am not sure which version I have.
I will contact a dealer on Monday and I will post their answer even though
they told me new version doesn't have that icons.

I have version 12 myself and I have all the icons. I am assuming there is different software depending on your area.
AFAIK zag the only area that uses the accept screen is the US. I doubt it but maybe your dealer installed the wrong software and perhaps that is causing the conflicts.

Hi guys,
I bet that all of you that lost the icons have BusNav.
I'm saying that because when i upgraded to V.12 i lost the icons too. Then i did the CCC upgrade (ProNAV conversion) and the icons returned!
Conclusion: In Business NAV, with V.12, the techs at BMW opted for removing the icons!!!

A = Auto Climate Control.
This is a known issue. If you had a version before 12, then the car would SOMETIMES default to the "Auto" selection even if you were not using. I personally only saw this SOMETIMES.
You can clear it by manually changing it out of "Auto" in the climate control function. Or just get version 12. Again, this is a known issue and has been posted on here many times.
