Hello
Just noticed if I have the DLR option enabled in idrive it turns on the Xeons and angel eyes! I dont have the manuals to hand and wondered if this this normal? Is there a way to just have Angel Eyes as your DRL or is this a dealer visit?

not sure what year your e60 is...but you can find you manual here:

+1 for DRL option/control being an LCI feature, I have read a few posts were members stated a pre-lci having this option after an SW upgrade, nothing concrete tho.....

an SW update can turn off your DRL's...I believe it's the option via IDrive the OP was referring to....has anyone with a pre-lci that's had an SW update now have that option via iDrive

Thanks guys, I've just had a software update and have the option to turn the DLR on / off but as mentioned it looks like only LCI's (if possible) have the option to turn off the Xeon headlights and only have the angel eyes on as I went through all the menus.

thank you for the confirmation...now I wonder if this is only true for EU owners or does this include US owners as well
