My Ride: 2008 550i, Sport Package, Cold Weather Package, Nav, Jet Black, natural brown interior, automatic, Logic 7, ipod, lane departure warning.
Got murdered in two softball games last week by a bunch of loud mouth a-holes...felt great walking to the parking lot and having those low lives see me get into my car. One dude gave me the ol "Nice car man". Softened the blow of the defeat...

I don't get many compliments on mine. I usually get the haters that say:
- You're crazy to pay that kind of money for a stupid car.

)I get more snide remarks or sneers than I do good comments. The vast majority is people who pretend not to notice. On some rare occasions someone will give a "nice car" compliment. To be honest, I got TONS more compliments when I had my '02 Chrysler 300M Special and my '05 Mustang GT.
On a side note, when someone does say "nice car," I always feel weird saying "thanks." I didn't design the car. Those "nice car" accolades should go to the designers. So from henceforth I decree that you all will say, "You made a nice car selection" or some facsimile thereof whenever you compliment someone about their ride. I have declared it and it is now such. Go forth and spread the good news.

To be honest, I got TONS more compliments when I had my '02 Chrysler 300M Special and my '05 Mustang GT.
Cause 300M especially is an ugly car to be honest. Mustang isnt good looking either but not as bad as Chrysler. Just my opinon.
The vast majority is people who pretend not to notice.

Well, every Audi A6 (and most A4's) I encounter on the motorway seems to suddenly develop a dogged determination to not be passed by me when I show up in their rearview mirrors. That's a compliment, no?
