I saw a post on RF by an 05 530 owner after this question was asked there. He said no red reflectors on his 05 e60. The red reflectors are available from bekkers.com and they are easy to install. They look really good on the car.

I can't say why, but this topic reminds me of the old joke-
Why do firemen wear red suspenders?
Sorry, I just had to get that out.

Model Year: 2018
That's funny. They were $24 when I bought them in January or February. Right after I bought them, they went up to $28. I'm surprised they dropped the price since it seems that the '05 models aren't arriving in the US with the reflectors either...

My Ride: 2006 BMW M5, Silverstone with black extended leather, brushed aluminium trim, Nav Pro, Logic 7, PDC, 35 % tint.
I just ordered my 2005 545 last week and I had to order the rear deflectors separately. They were CDN 18.00 each, including installation.
It seems that dumb american regulations are the reason they are not allowed, as they are visible from the side also. Why this is a safety issue in the US I have no idea.
BMW should redesign the rear bumper for the North American market so these are standard, which I am sure they will do.
Until then, 18.00 is not too much to pay. By the way, I would get the dealer to take care of it.

[/quote]oh, btw, my friend called 911 last week and firemen came (no big deal, him, his wife, and my gf stucked inside the elevator ). i kind of remember they didn't have red suspenders .
back to the topic, no red reflectors for '05. i think more and more people are getting them so bmw are more than happy to leave the black inserts as is .
