My Ride: E60 530d Sport - Carbon Black, Black Dakota Leather, Media Pack (satnav, bluetooth, CD changer), heated font seats, through load
I spent the day today at DMS Automotive, and then Salisbury Plains. After receiving a little magic from DMS Automotive to my 530d, we headed off to take some photos.
Total BMW will be doing a story soon. Comparing the 535d and 530d. DMS provided the 535d, their demonstrator. I'll post some photos of the day, but will be tomorrow. Both E60s are Carbon Black, and of course the sport model. So visually they're almost identical.
The difference from standard 530d to the DMS tuning is fantastic. Turbo boost happens sooner and stronger, rather than the gentle surge. And top end is more usable. Rather than no useable power above 4000 rpm, it pushes well to 5000.
And then I tried the 535d, also with some DMS magic. Fantastic! From a standing start the power is there, and continues well into 3 digits
On returning to DMS, I met Clived who was haivng his 535d done. I trust he will be just as excited too.
Will post the photos tomorrow

Total BMW Photoshoot - Tuned 530d Vs 535d
Total BMW will be doing an article comparing the 530d to the 535d. My 530d and the DMS Automotive 535d demonstrator.
Location: Salisury Plains (MOD firing range)
Photos were taken at one of the tank crossings:
My 530d
The 535d "twin"
Evidence of the dynamic shots on the road - the sunroof was rather handy
Twins!
BTW, the professional photos as expected are somewhat more impressive than my amateur ones. The finished article will be very nice by the time it gets printed.
