Diversity Antenna Issues
My 2006 E60 has just had a new genuine Diversity Antenna installed due to Comfort Control Issues and a weak radio and TV reception. Radio/TV reception still poor and Comfort Access operates only when the key fob is next to the door handles. Remote lock/unlock operates but also only within 2 meters from the car. Would appreciate any ideas to help resolve this problem.

The diversity antenna module (imported from Germany) has been installed, however, it seems that it is not making contact with the rear windscreen. Apparently there are a few contact points on the rear screen that need to make a connection. The rear screen has a few built in aerials within it. I think a few minor adjustments will fix the issue. The rear screen had recently been removed to have a new rubber seal installed and as a result the contact points have been either broken or misaligned. I'm hoping that with a few adjustments, the expensive new module ( $800AUD) will work perfectly.

Ok so correction i have a fucked up ccc unit and i been messing with the fuses. It is working fine now. I would take the cd changer and ccc fuse out so i believe it was the reason.
