AC Cobra? Even the late model cobras, particulary 03 and 04 Cobras.. I wouldnt ditch lol they are absolute monsters, (come s/c stock) totally different league than the 545i..
545i is more of a refined luxery ride, but still has a nasty bite

Congrats on the 545! It's good you have a checklist of what it is you 'plan' to do, but spend enough time here and that list will grow exponentially. Something about these cars, it brings so much joy to add something new to it, even something simple.
As far as the headlights go, LCI is for sure the way to go, but you open a new chapter you may not ever see a decent return on. I got the LCI tails, but I will just try to sell them on this board when I sell this car because most people will say, "Huh, oh! I didn't even notice that." I will lose 80% on that investment. If your car does not have navigation, buy a retrofit kit off eBay and do it. You will get every penny if not more back on re-sale.
There is a guy selling them from Poland (on eBay) (search for 'e60 navigation), and while it take FOREVER to get it (mine is still 'in transit') he sells the Pro Nav retrofit for $1400 OBO. I offered him $1,100 and he took it. Shipping was a bit steep at $130, but $1,230 is not bad at all.

Aaah, I wasn't aware there's such a thing as a Mustang Cobra. The OP just wrote Cobra. As far as I was aware there's only ever been one car called a Cobra - the infamous AC Cobra from the 60s.

I am also migrated from Mustang to E60 (mine is 530 though)
BMW is definitely better car.
but to tell you the truth, I miss the exhaust sound of Mustang (SLP Loud Mouth)
American muscle cars have their own forte

I must agree with you on that one. Thats why I just kept my first car, the Mustang GT. No Cobra, but it has sentimental value and is the 5.0 302. Still runs like a champ (although a bit tired) @166k miles on the ODO. Whenever I start that thing up in the spring, my garage shakes. Love it.

But I have to assume the OP meant a late model Mustang Cobra. If I had an original or replica Cobra, I wouldn't part with it to get a 545i.
