When you remove CCC, fan is not turn on (no power), how can you verify fan is working ? My CCC;s fan is clipped onto the backside of the CCC.

Remove the CCC while the cables are still connected to the car, the fan should be operating, if not then perhaps the unit is overheating and only the fan needs replacement.
