Congrats on the M5 decision...can't go wrong there. Just expect no gas mileage! The sooner you accept that the better off you'll be.

That's why I have avoided an M5 test drive. I know I'd be hooked on its power and "presense". The 550i is more than enough performance for me (yet retains civility) so I went that direction.

I've driven one and I'm positive it is a decision that you won't regret. Except the gas mileage!
