Digital Gas Meter

So for my last three fill-ups I've been putting different gas in my car. I've noticed that when I use Shell the digital gas meter says I can 225-240 on a full tank...When I use BP or Mobil it says I can get 325-350 miles on a full tank. All the gas that I use is the highest octane.
Does that mean one gas is better than the other...or should I just take it with a grain of salt and stick with Shell?
By the way what gas do you guys use in your E60's.

"Miles to empty" does not read the fuel type. It uses some calculation based on recent fuel economy average of the vehicle/operator. When using the car around town, a full tank can read only 280 miles. While on a 1,400 mile road trip, averaging 75 mph on the Interstate system, full tank fill-ups typically read more than 500 miles, e.g. 525.
I use QT and Shell 93 octane.
Fill-up to full, take the vehicle onto the highway. Drive conservatively and at the posted speed limit. Your "Miles to empty" value will actually start to increase.
