I've had a look in the secret menu on my Bus Nav car today. This is what i've got(which is completly diff from whatever else that has been posted. Not usre about Soft ver):

1. TV (Ergo) - Any idea what this is?

-3 <--- set to this. What will changing this do?

2. Something to do with Speach (SVS) - I only have the phone voice command.
-Push to talk - havent tried pushing it. The voice activation starts as soon as i enter the menu
3. something else
4. globalpositioning - Blank screen
5. location - list of locations from the nav recent list
6. something else - inside, says reset CVSD (i think - 4 letter acronym like that)
7. Tuner test - just as in above post
8. something else.

All screens are different, but come up with tuner test in the top bar, once you've selected whatever.

What do you reckon the GPS one should do? in previous BMWs, there has been a secret menu with Gyro / lat long / available satelites - i dont know if this is *meant* to be like this.

How about the first one - TV (ergo) - whats ergo? and the numbers? would it be safe to change the selected one in the list?

The 1st menu was 0-4, set at 2.

3rd menu - navigation. Has option to turn Nav simulator to On, version info submenu, clear calibration data, Nav Info to On (Tried it - cant see anything changed).

6th menu called Becker.

7th - Tuner test. Shows info about current station, shows what the 2nd tuner is doing etc. Allways says "0" next to the TMC bits. Does this mean the tuner needs to be updated?

I will try to get some pics up later.

Same menu I have. 11/03 E60 w/Bus Nav. I believe the first screen (set to 2) is DVD-zone.

I think DVDs go up to region 6. Have you tried changing it?
