We've seen a lot of threads of how the LCI models are better than the pre-LCI but what about the other way around. We've heard of people talk about the L7, comfort seats, the headlights etc. But what else.

.. isn't the attitude from Munich that they don't make mistakes?!? So, humble friends, who are we to complain..?
I understand from deeman and ipp that the high beam is not as good on the LCI as pre-LCI.
Reliability would be my contribution. I still haven't swalloved the bitter pill of having two BMW Assistance issues during the first three months. And a programme update six months later to finally fix it!

My Ride: 2011, X6 Hybrid . Alpine White , every option. 20" Conti' NON runflats,OEM trunk spoiler , LUX V3 AE's , HP Thunder Fogs , custom front bumper reflector delete........
I wish the LCI's didn't have those tacky looking reflectors on the front fenders, they look like the ones Ford uses on the Focus, also I wish the LCI's could be ordered with the aluminum cube interior trim which was discontinued in the 08's.............

The door handles and the new "comfort" seats. The door handles, they dig in to your leg if you lean against them. I nearly swapped the car because i was gettining bruises. I had to adjust my seat to a position I didnt like so my leg was in a different place, and have now got used to it. The comfort seats ... particularly the new headrests, just don't look as good or feel as substantial as the old ones.
There are 101 things I could say they could have done easily and should have done, but they weren't in the pre LCI car either.
First two E60s I had halogen, third I have xenon, I think they're fantastic - but obviously not comparing like for like !

Externally, (and internally) I find there isnt much difference on the LCI and original guises - certainly on my model. The only thing I would have wanted was the extra HP the revised engines give. The style of the rear lights, and moving the window switches dont excite me too much!
I doubt Joe Public actually realise the e60 has been revised.
Life Cycle Impulse - am I the only one that thinks thats amazingly pretentious?
