Thumbs up

Can anyone tell me what the differences are between the 2004, 2005, and 2006 models of the E60? I would really love to know... Thanks...

The 2006 model has got 31 hp and 5 NM more than the 2004. More standard equipment, that depends on where you live. The I-drive software has a newer version. You have I-drive with leather on top in stead of the silver idrive.

Very subtle visual differences. Some 2004s came with black plastic inserts instead of lower rear reflectors (North America) - 2005s and 2006s have body coloured inserts. Inside, the lower panel in front of the shifter was black in 2004 and wood grained from 2005 on. There are some reuthenium accents also in the 2006s that were just plastic in 2004 and most of 2005. The motors are the biggest change.

start/stop button -- the standard wheels of the 525 04 were 7 x 16 now they are 7.5 x 17

Right, as far as I know, the only difference of the exterior in the US is the rear bumper cut outs. From black plastic to color-matched.
I don't like either. The red reflectors is my choice or M sport package.

He is refering to the rear bumper location for the red reflectors if you opt to order them and replace the now body color inserts. They are located right below the tail lights on the bumper. Euro spec cars automatically get the reflectors.
