Planning to replace my OEM style 123s & RFs with OEM style 184s & non RF. How can I tell if the wheels are OEM or replica. I know a guy who used to work for a BMW dealer and he just open a detailer/wheel shop. I just wanted to make sure I get the OEM wheels. Also, if I replace the wheels/tires, do I need to purchase new tire pressure sensors.

Thanks advance for your help.

By the way, got a nail in my RF with only 200 miles
Dealers want $370 for the tire. Purchased thru Tire Rack for $299 on 4/6, I still didn't get my tire. Called Tire Rack about the tire. UPS delivered to the wrong address and then mentioned UPS cannot locate my tire.

Glad to know that you are going with OEMs. I have read a lot on this on all over this forum. OEMs are a little more expensive, but from what I've read way worth it. Design and Paint are the two indicators for Replicas. Of course the price should also be an indication that it is a replica.
I would recommend M_Quad, another forum member, as an option to get your new OEMs. He is quite reputable and there is a discount for forum members.

Good Luck...

Original equipment manufacturer, or OEM, is a term that refers to a situation in which one company purchases a manufactured product from another company and resells the product as its own, usually as a part of a larger product it sells. However, there is confusion among many as to whether OEM refers to the company that buys the product and resells it or the company that originally manufactured the product.
