Hello,

I finally got my new wheels this weekend and I'm thinking I should have gotten another size....please let me know your opinions!!!

What I got

KONI (yellow) struts and shocks - Didn't get coil overs because I needed to stay in budget
EIBACH PRO KIT

19' TSW RIVAGE BLACK
Front 19x8 - w/ 245/35/19
REAR 19x9.5 - w/ 275/30/19
Again I went with this size to stay within my budget because I also get the m5 Mtech kit.

WHY I THINK I SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN ANOTHER SIZE

I THOUGHT THAT WITH THE EIBACH SPRINGS AND 19'S THE CAR WOULD SIT RIGHT ON TOP OF THE WHEELS, THEY DON'T NOW BUT I WAS TOLD THE SPRINGS
WILL SAG MORE AFTER A FEW WEEKS, SO I'M HOPING FOR THAT.

FOR THE TIRES I WAS HOPING THAT THE WHEELS WOULD BE A BIT WIDER THAN THE ARE, BUT I DIDN'T WANT ANY RUBBING TO HAPPEN.

WHAT IS YOUR OPINIONS ON MY SET UP, PLEASE SHARE YOUR HONEST THOUGHTS!!!

THAN YOU

Tires are perfect.
Wheels I would have went a bit wider by at least .5 inches on each side. Offset also matters.
I have 10" on the rear with offset 14 with sport suspension and have a tiny bit of rub when i fly over dips at high speeds like some commercials do to give my suspension it's thorough checkup.
Even with sport suspension you'll still get a good 1/2 to 1 inch of clearance so if you don't have sport suspension then expect it to be higher

Asking questions before pulling the trigger really does make a difference.

Thanks for the reply.

I did some investigating before hand.

Could I get .5 inch wheel spaces? Will this be good or bad?

I think the offset is 20, I think I should have gone .5 inches wider....do you think wheel spaces will help? Is that a good idea???

I guess if you put spacers the wheels will be pushed out a bit more. I'd wanna see how your wheels sit right now.

I think you should have gone up a wheel size to 20's (F20x8.5, R20x9.5)and tire sizes F245/35 and R275/30and then lower using H&R (they drop lower than Eibachs). I have this set up and my stance is awesome in my opinion. My wheels are +18 Offset.

Is your car an xdrive? Trying to find proper offset for aftermarket 19" wheels for 2010 528 xdrive. Anyone know?

That's a good setup 19's still give reasonable ride with a little insurance of lesser chance of wheel damage because your still running at least a 30 - 35 series tire. Someone suggested 20's those do look nice, but with the roads these days I would be nervous of potential wheel damage. If your budget allows do adjustable coilovers, ride will be harsher but the handling more than makes up for it.
