Hi everyone
Was visiting a friend over the weekend and whilst getting in his driveway (which is raised above the ground in somesort of an artificial bump) I slightly brushed the underneath of my car against the bump.
Do you think I caused serious damage?
After driving away I did not notice any change in the driveability of the car, its handling, or any strange sounds.

I had similar incidents twice.
Let your dealer have a quick look at it. You can't tell otherwise how much damage there is.
But from my experience I can tell you, most likely you will only have a couple scratches, that's it.
I had to replace a plastic piece once, but only because I wanted to have the car back at 100%. It was not a problem at all, so I could have continued driving.
Just to make sure everything is fine, stop by at the dealer and take a look at the bottom of the car. They will most likely not charge you for it.

Going from your description, it doesn't sound like you did anything serious...It only takes a few minutes to jack your car up and crawl under there to check if there was any damage. That would be your best bet.

I think you may have blown out an O-Ring. Perhaps you should replace the fetzer valve underneath.
