I'm bored waiting for my 550, so I've been digging through some proprietary market research about car buyers.
Here's some info on the typical MY 2005 545 buyer (U.S.):
male
48 years old
married
$203,000 average annual household income
One-third of buyers have an Advanced Degree
5'10"
180 pounds
One-third of 545s are purchased / the other two-thirds leased
Average price paid for purcahsed 545 $61,500
85% have Steptronic
One-third of 545 owners had another 5 series just before this car
Another one-quarter had another type of BMW just before this car.
The cars we otherwise were closest to buying were the MB E-Class and the Audi A6.
The #1 reason for buying a 545 is Performance. What we like best about the 545 is the way it accelerates and handles, and we like how it stands out.

I also saw the info you posted and think it is interesting. We fit the profile well. You could do a poll to try to get at how well we all fit the profile. e.g.
