Just wondering if this is possible and will it look stupid? Any ideas on how much in the U.K?
Cheers all.

Badges are available as spares. Simply stick them on (preferably using a ruler/spirit level/laser beam to make sure they are straight). Cost should not be huge, given that the front emblem is ?11.
Why should it look stupid? Now, if you badge an E60 as 777tdi, that does look stupid.

Hmmm... maybe I ought to put a "d535" badge on the other side just to give it the symmetry that debadging might otherwise give...

In my opinion, it'll only look stupid if you "up-badge" your car or if you affix it in a location that isn't exactly where they'd have put it on at the factory...

Thanks for replys. Colleague at work had a look at a 535d sport and it had no badge at the back, was wondering how easy it was to be done.
Cheers for help.

Dental floss, some white spirit or meths and a few minutes of careful work. A hairdryer if things are really stuck on.

IMHO debadging is a waste of time because to the E60 enthusiast they should be able to tell the model by the shape and colour of the exhaust. The only exceptions would be the difference between 530i and 525i and 525d and 530d. Anyone who couldn't tell the car from the exhaust wouldn't be interested whether it had a badge or not.
Me personally I prefer to have the badge fitted. Plus if you don't get the retrofitted badge in the right place it always looks like the car has been in an accident.
Perhaps I should get out more
