I have the OEM M5 (166) wheels on my car. They fit perfect. However, I am running a 15mm spacer in the rear for a more flush look. I had a 10mm on there but it still wasn't flush enough for my liking. I now have the 10mm spacers with bolts for sale. PM me if interested!

Is it possible that the SA thought the OP was asking about the M5 wheels AND tires? The wheels will fit but if you use M5 stock tire sizes, it'll usually rub on a regular E60, especially if you have sports package.

Thanks guys!
So with a 19inch 166 staggered set, what would the best tire size for my 545 without the sports package be?

Cheers!

I prefer 245/30/19 and 275/30/19 although it is unconventional.

Why the preference?
I'd understand if it was non-staggered. Then you could rotate all the wheels.

Well OEM for non M e60's recommend 245/35/19 and 275/30/19. However, I find that on the OEM M5 wheels with these tire sizes, the front looks a tad bigger in profile than the rear. With the 30 series tire up front it looks just about even. However, the only manufactuer that makes the 30 series front is Yokohama.

I understand what you are saying. When you start running tires with a lower profile the visual difference between the front and rear becomes much more noticeable.
I'm on 255/30/20 and 285/25/20 tires right now just because I was adamant about keeping the rolling diameter the same as OEM. But looking at it now I'll probably switch it up to an even setup just for cosmetic purposes. Taking into account any possible rubbing issues of course.

You do know if you get the 166's in M6 fitment (yes, they make them) instead of M5 they fit more flush. I have 20" wheels with M6 offsets, I like them.

Where can I get a 166 with M6 fitment? I would like to avoid spacers where possible.

Thanks
