if you end up getting a set of wheels with the standard m5 offset, then you'd want probably 12mm wheel spacers in the rear, so that the wheels are pushed out a bit.

Simple, next time before believing anything the dealer says ask him one simple question:
"What is the difference between LCI and Pre-LCI?"
If he stutters, or can't answer correctly you know he's just feeding you bullshit and you can move on from there.

As far as wheels, there was a guy named Vince up near Detroit I've dealt with in the past for BMW and Benz wheels. He has the wheels in the offsets you need...or he did at one time. They're reps but definitely worth the $600 he was charging. I bought a few sets for cars on my lot and put tires and best $1100 or so investment I made....moved the cars within weeks easy.
