My Ride: Delivered 30/11/04: 535d Sport, Carbon Black, Black Dakota leather, Media Package, Hi-Fi, Rear M Spoiler, Headlamp Washer, Auto dim/folding mirrors, Grad tint screen, Aux input,

I apologise in advance if this topic has been covered. I tried to search for it without success.

I read in one of the "things to do when you collect your new car topics" that you can ask the dealer to programme the key to fold in your wing mirrors once you have locked the car (provided you have the folding mirrors option). I wondered what other dealer programmed options/goodies are available, if any?

You have to hold the lock button for the mirrors to fold if the feature is enabled. (It also closes all the windows and sunroof, if open)

The dealer can change the automatic lights-on sensitivity.

My car was also losing the A/C settings upon stop/restart - not sure if that's a key thing or an iDrive version, as the dealer upgraded me

My dealer gave me a print-out of the settings when I collected the car. I recommended going through those settings and make sure they reconfigure to your liking before you leave
