Just purchase a non-running 2007 525i N52 at auction. Vin # WBANE53567CW67981

See https://bmwfault.codes/ for a list of codes. P1890 appears to be voltage related, and may clear with a new battery.
Before you sink too much money into it, I would search the internet regarding the disintegrated belt. Common cause of engine failure. Oil from a leaking oil cooler gasket finds its way onto the belt. Belt gets wrapped up around the crankshaft pulley, then literally gets sucked into the engine.

I tested the cam position sensors last night and one is bad. Also cleaned the vanos solenoids, fingers crossed that a new cam sensor helps the no spark issue.

My personal guess is the crankshaft position sensor. I know on some of the cars I've had that without a signal from that sensor it won't even start the fuel pump (not that this necessarily happens on the N52, just something I've experienced). It wouldn't surprise me if it doesn't do ignition either until it senses the engine turning.
