Dashboard creaking

My Ride: 520d M-sport, Visibility pack, Cream Beige Leather, Auto, M rear spoiler, BT Car kit, Folding Mirrors, USB, Business NAV, DAB, High Beam Assist, CD Changer, 172 Alloys, Comfort Seats.
I had what would appear to be the same problem, however, due to the acoustics in the vehicle it was actually coming from the rear of the car!
It was the parcel shelf/rear seat creaking that some people complain of. I removed the rear seat and fixed some this thin foam between the top of the seat and the parcel shelf....... seemed to work well.
Thought I post this experience , just in case.
