Baran,

i see u prefer to get ALL options than the bigger engine. And you certainly DO have all options. I bet thats a lot of nice toys to play with!

The only thing i would want that i dont have is the active cruise control. i have everything else i want.

But i bet u havent felt the joy of a 535d engine have u?!

NO I didn't but I am thinking of a remap (especially) DMS btw you pay apprx 1000? annually for a 2.0 ltr engine in Turkey but for a 3.5 liter you pay more than 5k? a year and when puying the base price triples itself because of the taxes

There is no difference in the trim around the gear lever for Step, manual, or SMG. They are all the same shape, the only difference is that on the manual the leather boot clicks in the middle while on the Step and SMG the plastic panel and a smaller leather booth.

Also, you should be carefull as to which ALU trim you want. Even though there are at least four different real aluminum trims available for the E60, the one in the pictures above is the Titan trim, which is actually plastic that has been painted silver. The real aluminum trims are:

ALU Wave??- Real aluminum with a wave pattern on it.
ALU Cube- Real aluminum with small cube patterns on it. This is what comes on the M-Sport Package cars.
ALU Feinschliff- Real brushed aluminum (fine grain)
ALU Shadow- Real brushed aluminum (coarse grain with a very slight grayish tint). This is the one that comes standard on the M5. I bought these and replaced my Anthracite Maple wood trim with them.

Hope this helps

I don't remember how much all the parts cost....I bought them in Munich a year ago. I will try to find my receipt and let you know. I think it was around 600 or 700 Euros, but I could be way off......I'll see if I can find the receipts.

WAW !! i had no idea. Thats some seriously high taxes !! Ok, then u indeed made the best choice with the 520d.

How is the night Vision? Is it really practical ? or just an expensive toy?

BaranE,

Thanks for the pictures and the effort. I checked at the dealer today and indeed what you have is the plastic version and I am looking for the brushed Aluminium.

Many thanks for the effort.
