Unhappy

It was a beautiful day today and decided to take my E60 to local beach. I went too close to the curb while parking, as I was over cautious to avoid door ding from the sports cars parked next to mine. Now I have a about 3 to 4 inch rash on my front right (Style 138) wheel. I am really upset. Do any one know good wheel repair (curb rash repair) shop near Southern CT, NY or NJ. I would prefer some one near Stamford.

Thanks guys!

PS:I searched the forum and found few threads suggested shops in CA but none in tristate.

If I recall, member Penneta had a guy who would come to your house (NY). Try PMing him.

1st off, that SUCKS! I did this about 10 years ago in an old camaro I had....leaving a toll booth, scraped badly on the whole driver side....that is not a good feeling at all.

If what Cal mentions doesn't pan out for you, lob a call into your local BMW service center. I'm pretty sure they could help you get in touch with who they use for refurbushing CPO vehicles etc. Good luck!

That sucks! But curb rash happens to most people from time to time.

You didn't want those 138's anyway......you now have a reason to go out and upgrade!

Thanks, I bought it from Rallye BMW, in Westbury. I heard from the sales manager that they have a good body shop, let me check it out...
