So, Driving down the highway some SOB hauling various items didn't tie down his stuff correctly and they spilled out on the road. My car along with 4 others were hit with debris. I now have bumper damage, hood dmg, and passenger side skirt damage. The car is now giving me punctured tire warning and is vibrating bad at 55mph. UGH! To make matters worse I learned today that the drivers side light has condensation. Took it to the dealer and they quoted me 2k for damage. Now it's up to the adjuster to fix it up for me.

Here in Washington there is a stiff fine for poorly secured loads, since a lost load killed a person several years ago. In Salt Lake City I was hit by flying debris thrown by another car that hit it--since it was flying, my insurance picked up the tab. Had it been lying in the road and I hit it, I would have been at fault and they would not have covered it.

Good luck on your claim.

I didn't get a chance to pull over right away. One of the other girls close to the truck didn't bother and get plates I ran down the highway on rush hour and he took off like a chump

500 deductible. Even when it's not my fault. Allstate issue ? Hmm time to review policy.

did you check and make sure the tire is not flat? if you have runflats, the tires may appear normal still.

That sounds normal to me. I'm pretty sure you can pay more for a zero deductible with just about any insurance company if you wanted.

No run flats. Yeah i've checked tires are not flat and have air. Grrr
About the deductible I was told it was only going to be half since it was not my fault and I didn't run over it but be struck by flying debris. This is from a police officer.

I'm sure the police officer had the right intentions but your insurance company will make the final determination about how your claim will be handled. And, IF you've been insured by them w/o other claims my experience is that "everything" is negotiable!
