Driving down 75 highway near Dallas yesterday morning, I had this e60 right behind me with the brightest angel eyes I have ever seen. Just wanted to see if you're a member and which brand bulbs you use. It was the nicest I've seen on an e60.

I would say that e60 had orion AE. they are the brightest so far in the market after the OEM white AE that comes in the new models

I agree. Aren't the new ones HID???? I am wondering if this is the case, would an aftermarket kit from John be comparable? Although I do like the ease of my plug and play LED AEs, the ultra bright is nice!

I think the new OEM AE is LED. they are bright as shit. I wanna upgrade my 2008 x5 AE to the new OEM AE but I cant find the right thread. my SA said to do that upgrade I need to buy the new bulbs n a new module but am not sure if thats the right thing

I would love to know what that would entail as well. I assume it is not easy, or people would be upgrading like crazy on here. Especially if it did not involve opening up the headlights and such...
