Interior LED retrofit
Alright guys and gals. After putting the new wheels and tires on yesterday, I took the 545i out for a test drive and immediately threw a code. Had it scanned and it was a cylinder 1 misfire.
Now, my question is.....does BMW use a standard cylinder layout? I am assuming that the #1 cylinder is the driver side front. Is that correct?

On my inline 6, number 1 is the first one up ahead - the closest to the front bumper. Just had to replace coil #1 on mine about two weeks ago. Hope you get yours fixed soon

Quick update for anyone wondering, but BMW does not use the standard cylinder numbering. Cylinder 1 is the forward most plug on the passenger side.
