I'm anguishing over the exterior color of the 550i that I'm about to order. I think I've decided to get Mystic Blue with the Auburn Leather/Anthracite Headliner; that said, part of me still wants to go to a lighter blue. But it's going to cost some money, so I'm now in anguishing mode.
Just thought it would be interesting to see what 5 series experts think...

My Ride: #1: 2004 545i; 6-speed manual; Sport Package; Mystic Blue with a gray leather interior and Anthracite wood; CWP; Logic 7.
#2: 2010 535xi Touring; Automatic.
I don't know those other colors. I love my mystic with a gray interior and anthracite wood; but auburn with blue would be nice. The Interlagos on the M5 is nice, maybe better than my mystic.

I hate to rain on your parade, but they are all blue. Not really the best for the 5 series, I think.

I had similar issues. The Artic Metallic on the 3 series is my favoriate color period. It has a slight greenish-blue hue that is very unique. For me, it was too expensive ($2K or $3K) to go with an individual color on the e60. The light colors look better IMHO.
Mytic blue would be nice with either Auburn or Beige.
Get brave and go with Apline White and Auburn.
I wasn't brave enough.

BMW had a wall with painted color panels, representing every color it produces at the 2006 DC Auto show. I had to snicker a little, since I'd imagine a good portion of them never make it onto US-bound cars. There must have been upwards of 50.
I'd like to see more in the red family for the E60 in the US. Currently there are no options.

Sparkling Graphite would be nice. It's a little warmer and not that green like the Titanium Grey-2.
