When playing with cruise this morning I managed to set it at 155mph.

I wasn't travelling any where near that speed though, but the car was accelerating to try and get there before I intervened...

Hahaha!

A friend of mine once started pushing the cruise stick forwards rapidlly from the passenger seat and got it to 155mph. The car started accelerating towards it too before I intervened!

If you set the cruise control to 155 and then try and push it to 156/160, it cancels. Not that I've tried ...

I did try that and it didn't cancel - just doesn't go any further than 155mph...

I sure would like to know what he/she was doing to accomplish this feat! The cruise stalk is on the opposite side of the steering column from the passenger. Sounds like a possible case of public indecency.
