Helo Everyone!

Perhaps anybody knows what cleaning stuff and leather preserving cream is it the best to use on the CREAM (bright) leather in my BMW so that to look it matt like in a new car?
So far I know that quite many people use AutoGlym with very good results, others use Zaino 9 and Zaino 10, some people use some other things, however mostly on grey or dark leather.
There also was an information that Autoglym darkens the leather with time (which obviously we do not want to happen to cream leather) so, despite being very good for leather in general, it isn't suitable for bright leather.
As far as I'm concerned bmw have their own leather cream, although noone will ever tell you if that thing makes the leather go darker after some time.
Perhaps there is a specialist in that kind of matters among You guys? Any reply will be honestly appreciated...

Here's just some of the opinions in case if someone would like to know more about good creams for darker leather:

Just one more thing- seems like one of the most important things for those creams is neutral pH and no silicone in the ingredients as it is the one that makes everything shiny,,,

Try swissvax leather cleaner and conditioner, will not darken the leather and give you matt look finish.
If you are in the UK, try the croftgate leather kit

Thanks Keith 84!!! Never heard of that thing before. I am in the UK and I'll shop around and write a post again after trying the swisswax. BTW, (suppose difficult question)- which one's better- swisswax or the croftgate stuff?

Well, I got the Swissvax leather care kit. I bought it form their UK website www.swissvax.co.uk (?45 for the set of cleaner, milk, applicator, towel, brush and an elephant fat preserver). I've tried the cleaner and the milk. Cleaner is ok- indeed doesn't shine the leather and cleaned dirt nicely, but with old discolourations like old spilage of orange juiceit does not work (well, probably the cleaner is to clean and not to get the colour back ). the milk works nice too. I haven't tried the elephant thing yet. Both cleaner and milk are easy to use and give good results with matt look of the leather and because the pH is neutral it should not darken the leather. Thanks to Keith once again! Now I can recommend Swissvax myself!

I use mostly Zaino and leatheique and has done wonders for me.

My Ride: I have an 05 545i. It's a manual with a few options. This is my first BMW but I don't know how I'll ever be able to switch to something else.

I've used the Leatherique kit before and I had awesome results from it, but I have gray leather. The only problem with leatherique is that you have to leave it on for 6-12 hours, the longer the better.

If your in the UK try looking up Connolly leather care cleaner and hide food, real good stuff IMO.

if you want the ultimate, get zym0l leather cleaner and zym0l leather conditioner.

They are a bit expensive, how ever I have detailed hundreds of cars with them and they work a wonder!
