crazy oil leak from N62 545i - help!
Hello there,
Has anyone ever seen such a crazy oil leak? I haven't been able to tell exactly where it's leaking, only that it's leaking like crazy. I was able to snatch a small video, which shows the leak only shortly after the engine has stopped. Has anyone ever seen something like this, this crazy? For the life of me I can't see exactly where it's leaking from....
Many, many thanks in advance for your help!!

When I was replying earlier, I didn't play the videos. Based on the location, I was thinking oil pressure switch or vacuum pump etc. But when I played the video, I realized the fluid seems more like water.
Agree with others, it's definitely coolant.

That is coolant leaking, but not from the water pump. The pump weep hole is on the right side of the water pump pulley.
This leak is on the left of both the pump and the crank pulley. And if it's coming from the timing cover, that means the coolant transfer pipe failed.

Sounds like timing cover weep hole to me.
That means it's the crossover pipe. Google it, you'll find plenty on how to fix it..
Another one bites the dust... (coolant transfer pipe on N62) - Bimmerfest - BMW Forums here's when I did mine
