What still not working? Have you tried it again since? Should go get it fixed...
It was embarrassing man! Everyone lined up to watch me launch at the Bay Area Meet and I hit the rev limiter only to bounce off it in first gear. There was no dumping of the clutch.

Wooo THanks Znod for the calculated info. But I dont know what the pitch settings was set to.

Do you know jiio or hollywood? Since you "read the manual" and adjusted it before your 5.10 run... RIGHT?????

I think the road was pretty flat... it was a little bumpy in some areas towards the middle of the run... but I think it was flat.

I guess its time to do another run just to make sure!!!! JOE!? heheheh
I know jiio and Hollywood like I know you. Bumps can be a problem, but who knows if they made a difference? I didn't understand your second sentence. Yes, definitely do more runs. Can you do passes both ways on the private road you are using? Try going both ways. You guys should set the pitch setting. I would use 1.8 for all the cars. I assume the two rollout values have not been changed from their defaults--12". 12" is what you want to use. So, you might check to make sure the rollout values have not been changed.

Ya I can do double passes both ways. I dont think they'll mind.

As for the second sentence it was for Hollywood. he posted asking how to change the pitch factor. and said he was going to read the instructions manual so I was asking if he changed it or not when he did the run that got the 5.10 time. And Joe later posted and said Trash didnt...

I'll have to get together with jiio and do another run at least just with the IS.

Just dropped off the car with a laundry list of things to fix: BMW banner cycling off and on, airbag & sealtbealt light on, Launch Control/Acceleration Assist not working, RDS not working correctly, and regular maintainance.

The airbag & seatlight was kind of my doing. Darwin from CarLab disconnected the wiring while hardwiring my V1. I didn't tell them that.

This is what happened. I turned off my A/C (didn't need to turn off radio b/c the CCC is messed up). Disabled DSC/DTC and pressed the SPORT button. Kept the car in Manual mode. Next, I calibrated the G-Meter. Once everything was completed, I stomped on the throttle. The result was I redlined in first gear and the car didn't switch to second gear. So, after hitting redline in first gear the rpms dropped back down.

Using Acceleration Assist the car is supposed to row through the gears. It didn't this time or at the end of the first Launch Meet. I thought the car would've reset itself between the Launch Meet in LA and the Bay Area Meet.

You'll have to wait until August 26th. I'm heading up north to Norcal again this coming weekend. This time for a bachelor party in Tahoe. Ho hum...
