Could I have saved a few bucks by picking up at VPC?

My Ride: On Order as of May 6- 2007 530i Titanium Grey and Grey Leather, with Sport Package, Premium Pkg, Cold Pkg. 2006 Porsche Boxster

All,

I am a NJ resident and it seems that most all the boats deliver here. Should I have chosen to pick up at the VPC and save the delivery charge? I noticed that it was an option on the bmwusa.com site.

Where have you seen this on BMW of NA? I thought this is not possible.

You know I believe I am wrong. I want to say I saw it in a dealer slip of paper he gave me. It was listed as an option along with the European pick up option. I'll dig it up and post.

I'll bet that you're thinking Performance Center Delivery, not VPC delivery.

Although Performance Center Delivery is an option worth taking, it would not have saved you any money. It's available as a no-charge option to anyone...
