Default Could blowby from clogged intake valves cause an oil pan gasket to fail?

So I probably have the oil pan gasket leak on my 525. I don't mind getting it fixed but want to make sure it doesn't happen prematurely again. Is it possible for blowby from a DI engine to cause gaskets to fail? Is it worth getting intake cleaned and installing a catch can to protect the gaskets? Also before I bought the car it had an oil service I'm thinking they may have topped it up too much as it was on max.
