Anyways, over here in Germany all 545's get Rutenium trim on the steering wheel, no matter what steering wheel it is.

Iceman & urbo73. I've got the one looking like the smg steering w/out the paddle shift. Its an option over here, even for the 545. Its called the sports steering III. Prefer the m steering though. The feel is much better and the rim is generally a little thicker. I believe the m steering's circumference is also a wee bit smaller.

urbo73...it should be fun to watch this Sunday, or nerve wrecking depending on how the game progresses.
everyone...the difference in steering wheels that I was talking about was the "standard" wheel with Rutenium on the 545, and normal black on the 530 and 525. I thought that my brochure even showed this difference via pictures, but it could be a non-us thing. Anyone in the US with Rutenium on a standard wheel? If not, then Hormazd wins...standard wheel is the same across all models.

My Ride: 2010 E63 AMG -- Palladium Silver/Black.
Love this car but looking to switch things up to keep things fresh. 2nd AMG in a row, but toying with coming back into the BMW fold!

Confusing??? Just try looking up the part numbers with all the different models, transmissions, and heated vs non-heated.
I just wanted the look of the stock wheel but with a thicker rim to hold onto while driving.
Hope this helps.
