The sticker on my door (545 sport) indicates 32psi front and 35psi rear.
Since the car is shipped with those horrible dunlops, I assume those recommended pressures are for run flats.
What would be the recommended inflation for non run flat Goodyear Eagle F1 or any summer tires?
I inflate my F1 and the front one looks underinflated (maybe I am used to the way the run flats look, the same with or without air)
What are you guys running on non run flats? Does the 2005 545 indicate different than 32/35?

I was running my F1 GSD3s at 35 and 38, and when I took the car to Dinan for a balancing problem, they said it was too high and set them at 34 all around. Too much air can make shimmy worse and makes the ride worse.
If you're driving really hard or have the car loaded full of people and luggage, you can increase it, but they said 34/35 is the best.

I think the recommended pressures are the same, runflat or not. If there was a difference, it would be specified on the sticker inside the driver's door...

Wait I forget so what was the reason for increasing the PSI for 05 on the 545? Its now 38/42 if I remember correctly.

Hi Casper:
I bought a e60 530i from a BMW dealer here in GA, with just the premium package, (Not the Sport), and mine came with Style 138s and 17inch tires, and it had: 32lbs front, 34lbs rear, and I have changed over to 18s and I run the same air pressure and it handles great and even tire were..
Hope that helps!

My Ride: 535 D - to be delivered end Feb 2005 - color E08 - comfort seats - executive leather balck - 122 wheels - dynamic drive - active steering - pack luxe - tecnology pack - moon roof - 6CD player - hifi system - spare wheel - BT phone
My advice is certianly to not be under the sticker pressure and even over due to the fact that they are far less rigid. It is why they look underinflated.
