So my car's been giving the me coolant level low warning pretty often now - I would say about once every 8 weeks. Is this common? I'm also getting the recall work done on the brake booster so the car should be in most of the day. I'm worried that they're going to try and get me on something that's not covered under CPO warranty..
What should I look out for?

Look for wet spot under the car. Most likely caused by cooling system leaking. Pressure test will find the leaking area(s).

could be the expansion tank, the lower radiator hose and temp sensor that plugs into it, or a couple of other small hoses. it doesn't take much leakage for the warning to trip, so you've probably got a small pinhole leak somewhere. look for white chalky buildup around the tank area.

Yea... found a puddle of coolant on the driveway when I pushed my car back. Took it into the stealership 2 hours ago. Glad they told me the items that are leaking are all covered under my extended CPO warranty and that they'll also check for oil leaks, and other common problems that they can repair under warranty. Pheew!

Yea the CPO is like an insurance claim....you pay the $50 deduct....they love that because they know if you were a standard guy w/no warranty you'd probably buy the parts and do yourself.

Samething happend to me 2 weeks ago, ended up taking it to the dealership. Turned out i had a leak in the radiator, and the dealer replaced it.
That was an expensive fix ,thinking i only had a leak in one of the hoses.
