i got a message "coolant level low". i added a little bit of coolant to fill it to the mark and it's ok now. i wonder if that's normal for the car to loose a little of coolant?

yes it is normal, most dealerships will "top off" the coolant as a courtesy, when you stop by and tell them you have that warning message (had to top off mine at 7K miles)

if it's the first time feel lucky. My does it almost every month. Dealer can't find any leaks.

good. at least im not worried now. i thought it's a leek but wont bother unless it acurs again

'07 ... 30K miles ... never had low coolant warning come on ... never added coolant. I hope this doesn't jinx me

I had a bad problem with it awhile ago, took it to the dealer and they found a leak in the lower hose. Replaced it and refilled, and it's been good since. Though I have had it go on once, I just topped it off and never heard from it again.

I have the exact same problem. Just wondering if I needed a new sensor or a o ring or something before i start taking things apart. I'm ordering the hose tomorrow.
