My Ride: 95 M3 CAI, chipped, pulleys, Xbrace, doesn't give headaches every time I start up! 04 545i all the goodies INCLUDING HEADACHES!

On my 2004 545i the overflow hose that that leads from the reservoir to the top of the engine broke off where it attaches to the nipple. There looks to be three small hoses that attach to this connector. I checked the OEM site and it only lists all the hoses as a kit and is discontinued. Can I buy this plastic manifold piece separately?
Also it looks impossible to change out without removing the airflow meter at the front of the intake plenum. is there any DYI procedures in doing this?
It looks to be attached by 4 bolts but I know from experience that it can't be that easy on this car.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, you need to remove throttle housing and that should be enough to replace the leaking hose. I did the same project about 6 months ago and it was not that hard.

I replaced the hose kit 17127542540

Also where does the hose's final connection point. I can't find it from looking at the top of the engine.

You will see the final connection points after you remove the throttle housing.
Before you start the project be sure to have:

- sharp, long utility knife (to cut the old hose)
- metric sockets 5mm or 6mm for the hose clamp (don't remember the size) and 10mm for the throttle housing
- set of few wrench extensions (very limited space to work in)
- high temp grease to help you push in the new hose

And, yes I replaced profile gasket on the throttle body. My car had 96k miles at the time and the gasket was not that soft any more
