Use the BMW Coolant. It just isn't worth the potential trouble to use any other coolant in an attempt to save a few bucks.

+3 ... ask the parts department for either a Forum or BMWCCA discount ... many dealers honor one or the other for a 10%-25% discount.

bmw coolant is blue, and if you mix in any other coolant brand, you'll get an odd color....more like brown or something.
