Well yeah, dude, it's the drive axle. That should be expected, unless you never drive "spiritedly".

The dealership wanted to do an alignment because the tires seemed prematurely worn, and I had to correct them "No, that's normal. I just drive like an asshole."
I have a friend who put them on his 545 a month after me, showing virtually no signs of wear. He drives pretty much the same amount as I do, just more conservatively.

Man, I wish I had the self control of tibetan monk like that dude...

They just arrived and are sitting in my garage. I think I will put them on sometime in the next month. I need to let these Michelins go down a little more, hate to waste but I don't know how long I can wait!

i currently have this set of tire on my 19's, also a staggered set up (245/35/19) (275/35/19), mine for a set of four came out to $1105, but besides the price, the best tire i had so for in my search on performance tires, very quite, comfortable, and great dry/wet grip, havent had the chance to try them out in the snow yet.... the deal breaker was the great treadwear rating

Not impressed with mine. Bitch to balance, look ok, ride ok. Michelins were far better. Never again.

Looks like he said Michelins were better so must have been referring to the Conti's

I have had two sets of these 19"s on my 550i and 17"s on my 540i. Both sets flat spot horribly after sitting for just a few hours and foget about it if they sit for a weekend. Read the reviews on Tire Rack
