Just a little FYI I am running these on my 07 550i with 19" 08 rims and it really took away from the handling. Very soft side walls. I got them because they were cheap.

Don't run 235s on the 8.5" rim... you'll get no protection at ALL...
I'm currently running 235/35/19 and 275/30/19 on the rears and the rears have much more protection (I've already bent a new rim on the fronts)...
I picked up some 275/30/19's off of big-o-tires for cheaper than what tirerack had it for. Maybe give them a call?

Tirebuyer.com has the stock size 225/50/17 but not the size the OP is looking for. Downside is tire buyer does not do road hazard coverage. conti does cover but only for the first 1/32" treadwear.
