Right I see BT can be activated on builds after march 2004.

Are these sport or comfort seats? I am guessing sport since they are listed as 16 way (which I assume is the 12 way sport seat plus the lumbar option). Comfort seats are 20 way correct?

I got the 545 recently and it has 92k miles but i do not know if the Clutch Delay Valve was replased. But it seams to me that the clatch is hard to depress and takes my leg mussels to keep it depress. Is that the way it should be? Replacing that Clutch Delay Valve will smoothen it? Have you or other members done it and notice improvements?
Thanks
I won't hijack any threads, but just as a comment for the manual-lovers, the CDV-replacement makes clutch engagement more crisp and controlled. Doesn't make the clutch easier to depress but makes the driver feel more in control; eliminates the delay built into the OEM CDV.

Looks like sport seats. The comfort seats have the funky articulated headrests, the sport seats don't.

??? The headrests are not visible in the pic. Looks like it has active cruise control though, you can see the dial on the cruise lever.

Press straight down on iDrive and select the Service item. Scroll through and see when the next services are due...

They way I like to summarize the 545i - Cheap to buy, expensive to maintain.

I feel like maintaining the 545i is less forgiving than say a Toyota. So if you don't have all the right tools, and don't know exactly what your doing, then bring it to someone who does and plan on paying for that knowledge, experience and peace of mind. By the time its all done, you have to ask yourself, do you want maximum performance from the 5 or are you happy with a few quirks because you didn't do it 100% right. Tires are ungodly expensive and you'll need a fresh set ~20K. Windshield breaks, 1K, seems like anytime it has to go in for repair, expect 1k bill. (Greenbacks) Air filter, cabin filters and things like that are no problem. I looked at doing brakes myself, but by the time I added it all up, how much was I really saving......

Thanks for your help everybody. I'm flying to Edmonton to look at this car Saturday, likely returning to Vancouver with it if everything checks out.

Active cruise would be a nice surprise I didn't know about.

The only problem I am expecting is bluetooth as the build date is late 03, and some sort of auxiliary input. Both would be nice but I don't think either is worth $500 or more at this point in the vehicles life cycle. Also of course being from Edmonton I'll have to have the front end repainted to fix the numerous rock chips!
