But later on, upon questioning BMW Japan regarding the vehicle, they told me it's a Japanese Specification Vehicle. Could anyone advise me on which E60 do I have? As per parts search on RealOEM after entering the 7digit VIN, here's what I got P E60 Lim 525i M54 ECE 20041200 R N; NA52, batch ID: 47752

Thanks,

Marcus

Why not just ask Stuart Mitchell (the BMW UK guy) why BMW Japan gave you conflicting information? He might have a good explanation...

For fun, you could always ask the Japan guy why the UK guy told you something different too.

Might do as what you suggest, Rudy. As far As I know, Japan Specification E60s are quite difficult to handle as they have a 'mind' of their own as compared to EU and US specifications. Correct me if I am wrong
