Confused & Frustrated 2005 or 2006?

So confused...I can't figure out what parts to buy anymore because I'm in a borderline situation here. I have a 2006 E60 but with a build date of (7/05) which to me my car is technically a 2005 right?
First off, i've already bought a sports steering wheel which is made for 2006+ E60 (9/05) found out after the purchase that this wasn't compatible with my car --my fault of course. I just thought my car was a true 2006.
Secondly, I purchased a set of M5 mirrors on ebay for a 2006+ (9/05)... and again, found out that it's not compatible with my car, thank god the seller refunded my money. So now im in the market for M5 mirrors again. I find these on ebay: M5 MIRRORS
But it says for 2004-2005 E60 only.
So what do I do? Get these and pray they will fit my 2005/2006? FML

It's an expensive risk. im holding out until someone gives me assurance that these will fit with little modification.
