Confused
Hello
I have decided I am going to buy my first BMW
I have chosen the 530i and had nearly every optional extra there was but im confused on 3 things.
1. What is the high gloss shadow line?
2. What is the de-chromed option (what does it remove/change)?
3. and which is better for motorway miles ( or what would you recommend ) the ///M version or SE ?
Thank You

Shadow line means no chrome around the side windows - instead its high gloss black
De-chrome same thing - black instead chrome but in this case not glossy black
Choosing between both is also a question of what type of color you choose.
SE or M is a question of personal preferance - the only way to for you to decide is to test drive both.
M with runflat tyres which are standard is a pretty hard ride whereas SE is less 'sporty' but also less harsh.
Besides the different suspension settings the runflat tyres which come standard with both SE and M are responsible for some of the non-desired harshness - changing them to non runflats improves the suspension and roadholding for M and SE - but you don't get the runflat benefits.

Make your own BMW!
530i is a great choise but get it with the autotrans and as a Brittish SE version with 225/55 17" wheels.
And get the extras you now want!
You'll have a fast limo you never regret.
