Concern over Upper Timing Chain Crack

Alternator moved to right hand side. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/5series...0e78628e58.jpg Crack up Upper Timing Chain First, I can confirm that it is possible to access the upper timing chain bottom bolt on a 2004 545i with active steering. Photo attached. As stated in other threads:
Upon removing the gasket, I noticed what seems like a crack, and not sure if it is significant. If not, do I simply apply a little gasket sealant over it? Thanks |
